I currently have two FM transmitters and two AM transmitters. My trusty old Ramsey FM25B is a definite step up from the FM10

My favorite FM transmitter is my new EDM LCD transmitter. It puts out the best sounding audio I've ever heard. The fidelity is top notch, even when listening through my best FM receiver, and the transmitter's audio is extremely clean, with no hum, hiss, etc.


... my EDM transmitter has an awesome s/n ratio in stereo. I broadcast the HD Radio stream of a local station to my Sansui and Marantz tuners. The s/n ratio is equal to or better than the analog broadcast of the same local station when tuned in on the same two tuners.

I use my EDM set at the 10 mw setting, and cover my house, yard, and a few houses down the street nicely.

Be very careful of operating low cost transmitters from China. These can cause interference which can get you in trouble with your communications authorities.

Read Warning

 

Don't buy any FM Transmitter until you review the EDM Transmitter. Do a bit of research, googling edm electronics... read reviews & comments. (I did extensive research before I settled on the EDM. Wonderful sound, incredibly responsive support, and great price. Could well be the best gear purchase I ever made. And no, I have no interest other than being a very satisfied customer.

I have heard other transmitters. EDM LCD is the best by far. Even with just the test wire antenna it is clear and crisp with no hum. I have been using it for two years. Would not consder anything else.
