Before ordering please read this regards to RDS operation:

Receivers capable of RDS reception, require a clean strong signal.
For this reason your effective RDS transmit range may be only
1/3 the distance normally achieved for acceptable FM stereo listening.

For best RDS range performance an external antenna may be needed.

Receivers will simply ignore RDS data should the percentage data error become
too excessive due to noise, reflections, interference etc.

Commercial stations transmit very high powers so this in general is not any issue for their transmissions.

For safety reasons, some type of RDS text fields are not displayed on car radios, depending on country.
This is to discourage drivers from constantly looking at the radio display while driving. This is a
function of the radio and laws, not caused by the RDS generator.

On the EDM RDS models the TA (Traffic Announcement) flag has been disabled.
You will not be able to send text under this data field.

To transfer data to/from the EDM-LCD-RDS and a PC you will need a serial COM port
that can accept a DB9 type connector.
